The BCN Base ampoules contain hyaluronic acid, X-DNA and silicon. A sophisticated combination that guarantees maximum hydration, resulting in optimal elasticity. However, elasticity is often unnecessarily undermined by the impact of free radicals. They damage the cells, resulting in premature aging. The powerful antioxidant effect of the natural polymer X-DNA provides essential protection against this. Silicon renews and regenerates the skin cells.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix (non-cellular matter between the cells in the tissue); it fills the space between collagen and elastin fibers. It also makes an important contribution to cell division and migration of skin cells to the skin surface, it promotes fibroblast activity and ensures that essential nutrients are transported from the blood to the living skin cells. However, its most important feature is that it can attract and retain moisture up to 1000 times its own weight. This ensures optimal hydration, maintenance of dermal and epidermal elasticity and more volume in the skin; the effect that fine lines are filled from within. In addition, hyaluronic acid stimulates the skin's own production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). They also play a key role in retaining moisture in the skin and stimulating collagen production. A deficiency of GAGs accelerates the aging process because it leads to loss of collagen and elasticity.
X-DNA Gel (Sodium DNA, pure nucleic acid) is able to repair necrotizing cells (cell death due to oxidative damage). If this is not repaired and the cell debris is not cleaned up, it can lead to the death of surrounding cells and tissue damage. Nucleic acid therefore makes an essential contribution to the maintenance and repair of tissue (firm skin). In addition, nucleic acid has excellent moisturizing properties and is frequently used in anti-aging to tackle 'photoageing' (aging due to UV exposure). The enormous antioxidant power naturally also protects cell membranes against all kinds of other forms of oxidative damage and thus helps prevent collagen breakdown due to, for example, stress, environmental pollution and smoking.
Organic silica (silicon) plays a crucial role in the formation of collagen type I. Not only does it stimulate the production of new collagen fibers, but it also lengthens and strengthens existing collagen. This makes it essential for maintaining elastic, firm skin and improving stretch marks and scars.
